Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

According to Professor Google Fall technically is from 9/22 to 12/21. So I am going to only list releases between these dates that are on my TBR. Knowing me? I may or may not actually achieve getting them read. >_<

The Caged Queen (Iskari #2) by Kristen Ciccarelli
Publish date: September 25, 2018

I loved the story of Asha and her role with her kingdom, and you know me, dragons. But Roa was such a fierce character, and I am so excited to get a story from her POV. I love that even though there is an agreement between her and Asha’s brother, there is still some animosity, which opens up from one of my favorite romance tropes of hate-to-love. Please, please, please be good.

37811028For a Muse of Fire (For a Muse of Fire #1) by Heidi Hellig
Publish date: September 25, 2018

So this will have Asian inspired culture in it, so I am fully game. Also, it’s supposed to have multi-format writing to help tell the story (telegrams, letters) along with the first person POV. This is supposed to have a bipolar main character too, and I am really eager to see how she is portrayed.

Was awarded an ARC for this, and am excited to get it started!

The Sisters of the Winter Wood by Rena Rossner
Publish date: September 25, 2018

First of all, this cover is so beyond gorgeous. I am in some serious love. Second of all, I love slavic folklore inspired stories, and I have an inkling that this will end up being read later in the colder near winter months so I can curl up by the fire to specifically read this. But that’s not to say that it’s not a highly anticipated book for me!

Shadow of the Fox (Shadow of the Fox #1) by Julie Kagawa
October 2, 2018

All I can say is Japanese culture and I am here for it! Kami, yokai, kitsune. Gimme it all!!! I was blessed with an ARC for this book, and can’t wait to jump into in the next week or so!

The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke
Publish date: October 2, 2018

Beowolf retelling? Norse inspired world? 4 chicks killing a bunch of people? I’m all here for it. I have high hopes that this book will be featured in my Galentine’s day post next year for some bad ass female friendship book.

Muse of Nightmares (Strange the Dreamer #2) by Laini Taylor
Publish date: October 2, 2018

Okay, do not hate me for saying this, but I wasn’t the BIGGEST fan of Strange the Dreamer. However, I am eager to jump back into the beautiful world. In fact, if it wasn’t for the world building I probably would have let this one slip by. In the first book it was mostly the romance that had me like, meh, so I am hoping this book will have a much different feel because it sounds so much darker! Regardless of it all, I asked Jeremy to make some fanart of Sarai, and OH MY GOSH it was so beautiful. I am doing a giveaway for a preorder of the book as well as a print.

Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass #7) by Sarah J. Maas
Publish date: October 23, 2018

I feel like I don’t really need to explain this one. I am on a full reread of this series…which honestly only rereading the first 4 books because I fell out of sync with the publishing…so the rest is actually new. But I am very excited that I basically get to binge read this through to the end.

36382969Umbertouched (Rosemarked #2) by Livia Blackburne
Publish date: November 6, 2018

First of all, I love these covers. While I was somewhat of a middle ground on my review of the first book, I am eager to know what happens to the characters. There is something about complex characters that really drive a story.

Amber & Dusk by Lyra Selene
Publish date: November 27, 2018

Ahhhh, illusions! I was given an ARC from Scholastic and I am so excited to start this one. It’s supposed to have some good romance in it too >_<

23510085Fire and Heist by Sarah Beth Durst
Publish date: December 4, 2018

UHHHM. DRAAGGGGGGOONSSSS. Dragons stealing things. Like, I can’t even.

I have an ARC for this too. I am going to have a super great fall.

I’m Curious  \ ^_^ /
