Order on ascending date added.
Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
Read the synopses of the books
Decide: keep it or should it go?
The Books:
Book #11
It’s All Your Fault by Paul Rudnick
Date added: January 1, 2016
I feel like this book is going to be read as a bunch of forced jokes and a girl doing a lot of stuff out of her norm for…some reason unknown besides that someone she was hanging out with influenced her enough to do it in the span of 2 days.
THE JUDGEMENT: Go
Book #12
Venom (Secrets of the Eternal Rose#1) by
Date added: January 1, 2016
The only that’s really appealing about this is the Venice aspect. The mystery just doesn’t really sound appealing, I think I would rather read Stalking Jack the Ripper for a story like this.
THE JUDGEMENT: Go
Book #13
Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Daughter of Smoke and Bone #1) by Laini Taylor
Date added: January 4, 2016
Everything about this book is super intriguing: from it being set in Prague (and other magical realms) to the eerie feeling of marks on doorways. Plus after also reading Strange the Dreamer, there’s only one response.
THE JUDGEMENT: Keep
Book #14
Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin #1) by Robin LaFevers
Date added: January 4, 2016
Okay, so I am definitely a sucker for assassin books. I really like the idea of the convent she’s going to to get out of marriage training her to be an assassin rather than a nun. I just think that’s pretty rocking.
THE JUDGEMENT: Keep
Book #15
Dragon’s Keep (Wilde Island #1) by Janet Lee Carey
Date added: January 5, 2016
I’m such a sucker for dragon’s that I added a book about a girl who had a dragon finger..I repeat she has a freaking dragon finger.
THE JUDGEMENT: Go
Starting TBR shelf total: 455
Total books kept: 2 out of 5
I’m Curious \ ^_^ /
What do you think of my decisions? Have you read any of these books?
