Hey guys! I would like to take the moment to introduce my girl, Rae. This darling and I have been doing quite a few buddy reads together and have become bookish best friends. To celebrate National Best Friend Day tomorrow we are pleased to announce that she will be joining me here on Vicariously & Voraciously.

Originally this blog was set up for my sister and I do to do together and unfortunately her life is more hectic than mine, so we decided to have her opt out. Step in Rae, my newly appointed bookish best friend. Somehow Goodreads just knew that we would hit it off. Not only do we share the exact same birthday (down to the fact that we were both born in the morning) but we share a lot of the same interests in books, music, extracurricular activities, and so much more.

With the addition of the guest blog and fast approaching my one year here on WordPress I will be updating the look as well as moving over to just vicariouslyvoraciously.com. Such an exciting thing to graduate from the wordpress.blahblah.com you know what I mean? Anyway, I will let you all know when that happens because I am really excited for the design that I have commissioned my super artsy husband to come up for me. So hopefully in the next month or so we will see that. Anyway, without further ado, here’s Rae!

rae n jaeHello All!!! I am Rae 🙂 I have been graciously given the opportunity to join Scrill on her amazing blog, and I couldn’t be happier!!! I am a big fan of YA Fiction, Fantasy, some Sci-Fi, NA Fiction, and a contemporary here and there.  I have wayyyy too many favorite authors to really categorize them as my top favs, but a few that I have really been enjoying here lately are Leigh Bardugo, Victoria Schwab, Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman, Pierce Brown, Laini Taylor, Marie Lu, Sarah J Maas, Stephanie Garber, and Maggie Stiefvater.

I am hoping to do some unboxings, maybe a how-to here or there on some book crafts, and whatever books that Scrill and I aren’t buddy reading (there aren’t many lol) I will be writing reviews.  My rating system is pretty straight forward with one star being the lowest and five stars being the best. I am an emotional reader, so I generally won’t be too picky about the structure or technical parts of the book.  I will however rate them based on how the book made me feel, and how much I personally enjoyed it!

Aside from here on Vicariously & Voraciously, you can find me on other social media (links below)
